Who I am and why I make jewellery
Hi! I’m Maria, originally from Ukraine. I moved to Poland during the war and now live in a small, cozy home just outside Warsaw. This home has become everything to me — my safe place, my office, and for the past two years, my workshop.
I’ve always felt the need to create. Over the years, that urge has taken many forms: poetry, songwriting, theatre, knitting, quilting, painting — you name it. In 2023, I found jewelry. I started with simple seed bead bracelets and quickly fell in love with wirework.
Today, I craft unique, handmade jewelry using copper, gemstones, glass, seed beads, and polymer clay. My necklaces and bracelets often feature leather elements, and I’m always experimenting with new materials and ideas. I make everything myself — from jump rings to earpieces — and pour my heart into every piece.
I love what I do. I love wearing it, gifting it, and most of all, I love seeing my creations brighten someone else’s day.
